Pasta Machine Hand: Steps For Making Pasta Via Hand-Cranked Pasta Machine

Creating pasta without using any machine takes a lot of effort and is difficult. A good solution to lessen the difficulty is by using pasta machine hand cranked.

Yes, hand cranked pasta makers are still tedious as they require the users to wind the handle but it’s better that not having any machine at all, no? Just follow the easy steps below to make your own pasta:

  • Mix the ingredients – Combine your ingredients into a bowl.  mix until the dough forms into a ball.

  • Use the rollers again – Feed the dough to the rollers again after folding into thirds.  Do this until dough is smooth.
  • Roll out dough – reduce to a thin setting and roll out the dough. Set aside for 6 to 10 minutes.
  • Attach desired pasta roller into place – Feed dough to the roller again but this time using the desired pasta shape. Catch the finished product with a bowl or any container.
  • Store pasta – Hang and air dry pasta for at least 3 hours before keeping it in an airtight container.

I must admit that using pasta machine hand cranked is tedious compared to using the electric type.  What’s important is that you created your pasta in the comfort of your own home and that you made an effort to whip yourself something this tasty.  Just keep these steps in mind and you and your pasta machine will be best friends.
